As Senior Designer for Morris Nathanson Design, Josh is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the firm, as well as working with the other Principals to determine the company’s overall business strategies and goals.

As a senior designer within the firm, Josh has developed a portfolio of designs that reflect his personal preference for projects that are intended to have mass appeal, are budget conscious, and don’t take themselves too seriously.  

Some of his favorite projects include: The Coyote Grill, the Skylark Diner, and the Frankie and Benny’s New York Italian Restaurant and Bar chain in the United Kingdom.

For Josh, the creative process does not begin with the blank page, but rather, is triggered by the myriad of challenges and realities that each project brings, such as site conditions, concept and budget. Josh is also energized by a close interaction with the Client, so that the resulting design is a collaboration that marries Josh’s talent to the owner’s entrepreneurial vision.  

Josh holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design; is NCIDQ Certified, and is a Professional Member of the ASID.
